Christian Kilian, one of the child stars of our soon to be released independent film, Light, was interviewed by ABC News almost a year ago as part of a story on people who suffer from albinism and the tragedy that afflicts albinos in Africa, where they are killed because of a superstition about magical properties in their skin. Well, the show is finally going to air on ABC’s 20/20, tonight at 10pm, 9pm Central. Find more details on ABC’s website, and check your local listings for the episode you don’t want to miss! Light was written and directed by Marty Wisher.
Light Star on 20/20 Tonight
•October 2, 2009 • Leave a CommentElvis, Marilyn Entertain at Gulf Coast Village
•September 28, 2009 • Leave a CommentStarlight Productions provided special entertainment for Gulf Coast Village residents and their guests this week as part of their social calendar. The retirement lifestyles community hosted a 50’s-style soc hop, complete with a soda stand, classic cars, tunes from the live band, The Magic Moments, and of course, classic celebrity impersonators from Starlight Productions!
Marty Wisher once again played Marilyn Monroe at the height of her popularity and Ryan Sharp stepped in to play the young Elvis Presley. The residents were thrilled with Marilyn and Elvis, getting pictures, chatting with them and dancing with them all afternoon long.
Starlight Productions will return to Gulf Coast Village in December, performing their Christmas murder mystery, A Holiday Recipe for Murder for prospective clients.

What’s Up Cape Coral Chamber?
•June 12, 2009 • Leave a CommentWednesday, June 10th, Starlight Productions‘ own Paul Rose and Marty Wisher were pleased to host a special presentation at the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce monthly business luncheon. The Guest of Honor was the Fort Myers News-Press‘ resident cartoonist Doug MacGregor. Following Doug’s keynote address, Paul & Marty were called up on stage to present a “Lifetime Achievement Award” to Coco the Palm Tree, mascot for the new website What’s Up Cape Coral, co-sponsored by the Chamber.
Paul & Marty spoofed themselves as ego-driven actors, fighting for the spotlight as they showed clips from the various films that Coco had been a part of, including The Matrix, Titanic, Star Wars and Casablanca. The whole presentation was the brainchild of Brent Saitta of Saitta Productions, who wrote and edited the special clips of an animated Coco into the various films. Chamber member Jason Barrett from Da Bomb Entertainment provided the lights and sound system, and Paul Rose scripted the shanigans for the Starlight players. We’ll be posting a link to the video shot of the event as soon as its available.
Local Musician Tapped for Light Soundtrack
•June 11, 2009 • Leave a CommentCape Coral singer/songwriter Guy Noegel, also of the bands KYDeity and Skindot, has been recruited by Starlight Productions’ Teresa Cobb to create a soundtrack/score for our almost completed film, Light. Guy’s bands have a great reputation and have received local radio airplay, but one of his dreams has always been to create music for films.
We’re thrilled to have Guy as part of the Light team, continuing to create an independent film using entirely local (Southwest Florida) assets.
Our hope is to have the movie completed by mid-July.

Musicians Needed!
•May 28, 2009 • 1 CommentAs we near the completion of our first feature-length film, Light, we are looking for someone to fill in the gaps on our score. The scenes available on this site have temporary music to enhance the scene, but we need a professional-level musician to handle the scoring for the film. As with all of our other positions, this would be for film credit only, but could be a big boost for the person or persons who help us out.
