Paul & Marty host the Awards
Wednesday, June 10th, Starlight Productions‘ own Paul Rose and Marty Wisher were pleased to host a special presentation at the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce monthly business luncheon. The Guest of Honor was the Fort Myers News-Press‘ resident cartoonist Doug MacGregor. Following Doug’s keynote address, Paul & Marty were called up on stage to present a “Lifetime Achievement Award” to Coco the Palm Tree, mascot for the new website What’s Up Cape Coral, co-sponsored by the Chamber.
Fighting for Attention
Paul & Marty spoofed themselves as ego-driven actors, fighting for the spotlight as they showed clips from the various films that Coco had been a part of, including The Matrix, Titanic, Star Wars and Casablanca. The whole presentation was the brainchild of Brent Saitta of Saitta Productions, who wrote and edited the special clips of an animated Coco into the various films. Chamber member Jason Barrett from Da Bomb Entertainment provided the lights and sound system, and Paul Rose scripted the shanigans for the Starlight players.
